Our aim is to harness the power of open science & adversarial collaboration to test distinct predictions of Higher-Order Theories of consciousness. ETHOS involves 6 research institutions in the UK, Europe and the USA. We will test these predictions using psychophysics, neuroimaging, and hypnotic suggestion.
